Daily Schedule
Morning meeting: Choice board contains activities called buddy up and coping skills. You could also plan the day’s schedule together.
Language Arts: (45 to 60 Min.): Possible activities would include the Edflix performance task and choice board options; Clever Links: Epic, Seesaw, ABCYA, Storyline Online, Suessville; Word Wall, Words Their Way and writing practice – don’t forget COPS; Practice identifying story elements: characters, setting, problem, solution, beginning-middle-end.
P.E., Art, or Music: (30 to 45 Min.): The Edflix choice board contains several options. Mr. Runk and Mr. Krauss have all added activities to their blogs too.

D.E.A.R. – Drop Everything And Read: (30 Min.) Preferably a real book, not an online book
Social Studies/Science: (30 to 45 Min.): The Edflix choice board contains several options. Alternatively, on Clever, your student could research topics of interest in SS and Science with BrainPop Jr. and/or PebbleGo.
Recess (30 to 45 Min.)
Math: (45 Min.) Possible activities would include the Edflix choice board options – including Dreambox; our classroom Clever page Links: Addition, Telling Time and Subtratcion, Seesaw math activities; utilize a white board to call out math equations (+ and – to 20) and have your student write the answer as quickly as possible; practice mental math – example: bounce a ball two times and ask, “How many more bounces to get to ten?” – answer: eight
