Kim Rademacher, a first grade teacher, is a native of Richmond, Virginia. She graduated from the University of Mary Washington in 1985 with a BA in History and Historic Preservation. For several years, she worked within the preservation field at George Washington’s Birthplace NM and at Monticello in Charlottesville, Virginia. She married her high school sweetheart and settled in Henrico County raising three children. While her children were growing up, she worked in the pre-school setting teaching the 4-year old program. Mrs. Rademacher returned to school, receiving her teaching certification from the University of Richmond in 2007, and has taught both Kindergarten and first grade in Henrico County ever since. When she is not in the classroom, she loves spending time with her family, working in her garden, reading, and exploring historical and cultural sites. Mrs. Rademacher loves being a Kaechele Coyote!
