Congratulations Coyotes!

Congratulations and thank you for everyone that came out and represented our school for the Short Pump Mile this past Sunday. I saw lots of Kaechele coyotes running and having a great time.  I am proud to announce that we won 3rd place for having the 3rd most participants in the race this year.  Along with our 3rd place win we also received a check for $400.  This money will be used for new PE and recess equipment.  If you ran in the race please wear your Short Pump Mile shirt on Monday, October 9th.

Cooperative Games with Mr. Kelley

Hey Coyotes,

Mr. Kelley has started playing a few cooperative games with the students this week. The first thing we are working on is mission possible.  The students are really enjoying the challenge of working together to get from one side of the gym to the other without touching the ground.

Don’t forget to sign up for the Short Pump Mile!

Short Pump Mile

Hey Coyotes,

The Short Pump Mile is almost here again.  The race will be held on Sunday, Oct. 1st. We always have a great time running this race each year. The more students we have from our school signed up, the better our chances of winning money for our schools PE department.  Students who place in their age division will also get awards.  I hope to see you all out there.  Make sure that if you sign up you list Kaechele as your school.

Mr. Kelley will be at Kaechele until the middle of October and he will be helping to teach some class while he is here. We have seen almost all the classes and gone over our class rules and procedures.  We are about to start our unit on the 5 components of fitness and intensity this week.  Make sure that everyone is wearing good athletic shoes so everyone can participate in the fun activities we have plannned.
