Ozobots Introductory Lesson

Second graders in Mrs. Marshall’s class were introduced to using Ozobots. Ozobots are tiny robots that can be programmed to follow code. As an introduction lesson, I had the students use worksheets found on the Ozobots website to color code the blocks to make the robots do different things. The second activity consisted of another sheet where they had to get the Ozobots to start at a house, follow the code that the students created and end up at a shop. Finally, students created their own designs for the robots to follow. It was awesome to see how happy the children got when their codes worked. Great job second graders!
