Google Expeditions

As a review of the American Revolution for fourth graders, we used Google Expeditions to virtually visit key locations from the American Revolution. We did not have access to virtual goggles so we used Google Expeditions with the iPads. I took the role of the leader while the students were followers. To be the leader, a teacher has to login with her HCPS account. There is no login required for students to be followers. A nice feature of Expeditions is that it comes with a script and questions for the teachers to lead discussions about the locations they visit. After some trial and error, I found it best to conduct these lessons in small groups or else it overloads the connection and the app does not function correctly.
