Shape Hunt with Seesaw

The Kindergarten students at Longan went on a shape hunt around their classroom this week. They were searching high and low for circles, squares, rectangles, and triangles. The teachers set up their class in Seesaw ahead of time, so students simply had to launch the app, select “I’m a Student,” and scan the QR code to be logged into the class account.

Launch Seesaw & Select Student

Scan the class QR Code to Log In

When they found a shape in their classroom, they took a picture in the Seesaw app on the iPads.
Next they recorded their voice saying which shape they found. Then they selected their name from the class list and uploaded their work right to their folder.Once the teacher approves what they upload, it shows in their folder. The teacher can even share access codes with the parents, so that parents can view the work in their child’s folder. What an easy app for creating a digital portfolio for your students! From the teachers account, we downloaded these QR codes that directly link you to the students picture with voice attached. I love how the QR codes have the image in the center!
