All About Me Google Slides

The students in Ms. H. White, Ms. Bennett, and Ms. Jefferson’s classrooms had an opportunity to introduce themselves to their classmates in a unique way. After joining their teachers class in Google Classroom, students clicked on the link to a class Google Slideshow. On this slideshow, students selected their own number slide, took a picture of themselves. They learned how to crop their photo by masking the image with a shape so it would fit into the circle on their slide. Next they used text boxes to add their first name and information about themselves (favorite color, favorite food, etc.). Finally, students inserted images to accompany their likes/interests. They enjoyed reading about their classmates just as much as they enjoyed created their own slides.
