Chicken Life Cycle

   From Longan

The students in Mrs. King’s Kindergarten class had the incredible opportunity to hatch chicken eggs in their classroom. They incubated the eggs for 21 days and then watched them hatch! The chicks hatched on Tuesday and will stay with the class for one week before being sent back to a former Kindergarten teacher’s farm. The students love holding the chicks and watching them grow.

Today students had an opportunity to use 30 Hands to describe the life cycle of a chicken. Mrs. King took a variety of pictures throughout the process and had pictures of every student holding the baby chicks. She used Send Anywhere to send the folder of pictures straight to the camera roll. Then students launched the 30 Hands app, selected the photos they wanted to use, and recorded their voice on each picture. The finished product is a complete video that saves straight to the camera roll.

1. Select pictures to use in your video.

2.  Record your voice on each slide.

My little one even got to come back to Longan after school and hold the baby chicks. Thanks Mrs. King for providing this experience for the school!
