The students in Mrs. Conway’s first grade class have been practicing with non-standard units of measurement. To reinforce this skill, the students practiced on a variety of interactive websites:

Meanwhile, I met with small groups on the iPads to work with measurement with Chatterpix. The students selected an item from their desk and measured it using unifix cubes. Then they took a picture of it in Chatterpix and recorded their voice to say how many cubes long the object was.
