The student’s in Mrs. Bae’s 4th Grade class just started learning about elapsed time. Today they watched this Math on the Spot video about elapsed time and how it relates to the UCI Bike Race.
After viewing the video, students were challenged to solve the elapsed time that it took Matt and Julie to make their laps around Highland Springs Elementary. Though students used a variety of different strategies to solve on their Google Slide, they all ended up with the same total amount of time, 4 hours and 25 minutes.
