The students in Mrs. Fitzer’s 5th grade class have been learning about perimeter and area. Today they used a Google App called Lego Builder to create building foundations. Once they had their foundation in place, they used the snipping tool to capture an image of the base of their building and wrote the area and perimeter directly on the snip. They saved the image to their desktop and uploaded it to the class Padlet wall. The students really had a great time using these virtual legos to practice with these math skills!
