The students in Mrs. Ballou’s 5th grade class have been brainstorming and inventing new ideas to help others. This project is part of the Discovery Education 3M Inventions Contest. They came up with an idea and then conducted research on Google Docs to have facts to persuade others that their invention is needed. This week, they are recording their informational videos to describe their invention. They then wrote a script in Google Docs for their presentation. Using the Dell Webcam and Windows Movie Maker, the students put together a 2 minute video to advertise their invention. Take a look at one example:
