The students in Mrs. Quattlebaum’s 3rd grade class started working on coding the explorers in Scratch to show where they traveled from and what land they discovered. Today they logged into Scratch and remixed a template which consisted of the backdrop from Google Earth and the four explorers. The students then had to program each of the explorers to introduce themselves and travel from one location to another. They got a great start and will be finishing up their projects next week, but here is a preview of what the finished product will look like:
