Animal Facts in ChatterPix

The students in Mrs. Young’s first grade class at Montrose conducted research on an animal of their choice. They had to find out what it looks like, where it lives, what it eats, and how it moves. Using PebbleGo and trade books, students filled in their graphic organizer with a partner. Next they constructed their animals and scenery in the art room with Ms. Grantham. The students each made their own animal. They also collaborated in teams to paint the scenery for the different types of habitats where the animals live. Finally, the students used their research notes and the ChatterPix app on the iPad to make their animal “talk.” Take a look at their finished product!
