Solar System Research using Thinglink

The librarian at Ashe Elementary introduced fourth graders to the solar system by having them use a variety of sources on OneSearch. Utilizing PebbleGo, Britannica Image Quest, and DK Find Out, the students compiled their research on a graphic organizer. After this portion was completed, I assisted the classroom teachers with helping their students create a student Thinkglink account. The children then saved their planet’s image from Britannica Image Quest to their desktop and uploaded it to Thinglink. They learned how to copy and paste the image source as a tag in Thinglink. They then added additional tags to include the notes they compiled during their research in the library. Below are some examples. Great job, fourth graders!
