Kindergarten Pictographs with DoodleBuddy & Tellagami

A few weeks ago, Julie Smith posted an awesome graphing lesson that she did using Doodle Buddy. Doodle Buddy is an app from the our first iPad image, but I would be happy to add it back to your iPads if you would like to use it for a lesson. To collect data, I created a quick flipchart for students to record how they get home. We used that data to create graphs in Doodle Buddy using the stamp tool. After creating their pictograph, students saved it to the camera roll so that we could then pull it into the Tellagami app. In Tellagami, students created their characters and then recorded to explain how they analyzed the graph they made. Mrs. Milwit’s class did an awesome job!! Way to go kindergartners!
