Skip Counting Caterpillars

These 1st Grade students at Greenwood had a blast practicing their skip counting skills by creating a skip counting caterpillar. They used Pixie to draw their caterpillar, take a picture of their face, and record their voice. When they were finished, they exported their caterpillar as a video to the camera roll. I used the Send Anywhere app to get them from the iPad to my computer. Finally, I used Adobe Premiere to create the video in which the caterpillar flies out from the leaf. We had a great time with this activity and hope you enjoy the work sample!
