Let’s give a huge round of applause to the 1st grade teachers at Johnson Elementary School. They didn’t let the first day of school slow them down! They were awesome to invite me into their classrooms and we collaborated together to create back to school selfie collages. The students partnered up and took selfies of special places in their new classrooms. These places included their new desk, their cubby, the calendar, various numbers and even their favorite books.
After they had taken several selfies with their partner they returned to the carpet and I introduced them to the Pic Kids app. This is a free children’s version of the Pic Collage app. It’s so easy to use and the kids did an awesome job navigating their way to the camera roll, selecting their pictures and then arranging them on their collage tile.
