Are you interested in getting your students to begin coding? I know that it sounds like a daunting task, especially if you don’t know how to code yourself. Never fear, there are TONS of resources that you can use to jump start coding in your classroom! I know what you’re thinking, “Yeah, yeah, yeah. Matt, you people over there working in the Instructional Technology department always talk about how many resources are out there, and that’s the problem. It’s like a scavenger hunt because everything is scattered all over the internet!” I totally agree that if you don’t know where to go, this could be a headache that you want to avoid.
Here’s the good news! One of our amazing ITRTs, Jim Covais, put together this AWESOME website to help teachers understand and start up coding in their classrooms. Check it out:

Feel free to sign up for me for a coaching meeting or lesson that we could co-teach on coding. Every coding lesson I do is a smash hit, so I know your students will LOVE it!
