Today was a FUN day at Longdale Elementary. My two schools, Glen Allen and Chamberlayne, sent several 4th graders to Longdale for Book Celebration. We had a BLAST as the students circulated to five different stations. I led an iPad station in which students navigated to a comemories site that I put together that hosted images of the books they read. They picked their favorite book and saved it to the camera roll. Next, we went to the YakIt app and made our books come to life by convincing others to read the book we chose. Here is a movie about our day. The end contains the student work from my iPad station:
