I was excited to see that Mrs. Parsley’s Kindergarten friends were on my schedule for my first day back to work! Mrs. Parsley had been working with my board sub while I was out and they had decided to do a lesson on clocks and time to the hour. They had collaborated together and created this awesome Flipchart to help the students review. I came in on the tail end of this project and got to see the end result of their efforts.
After the students logged into their computers they accessed the Flipchart in their teacher’s folder under Server Shortcuts. Once the chart had loaded on each computer we worked together to complete various activities. Some of these included dragging and dropping number labels onto a blank clock, manipulating the hour and minute hand on analog clocks, matching digital and analog clocks and finally they played a few online clock games to finish out our time together! It was a wonderful lesson and a great way to get my feet wet on my first day back!
