Every year, Shady Grove Elementary holds a Rockathon in honor of its first principal, Thomas B. Fernald. The school’s PTA established a scholarship to honor him. Mr. Fernald had a strong impact at Shady Grove, making sure he taught his cardinals stewardship and leadership in addition to academics. The money raised during the Rockathon goes toward the scholarship.
The teachers were interested in doing a “lip dub” to have some fun so we decided to incorporate advertising the Rockathon with the lip dub. Multiple grade levels participated and the teachers did a great job…future rock stars are in our midst! Enjoy the final video below:
