I worked with Ms. Hanks’ second graders at Dumbarton this week. We used Pixie to work with fractions, and the kids had a blast. I had the students write a fraction, represent it using the stickers in Pixie, and then they recorded their voices over the slide. We did the first one together just so they knew the process and then they went off on their own to create as many as they could. The students got really into it! Once we were finished I had the students export the Pixie slides as a movie and then send it to me using my Google Work Collector. Check out some of their videos below!
