In the elementary classrooms across Henrico County we have had a huge shift in technology this year. It was a much needed update, but change is hard. Teachers and students are have all gone from Macs to Dells. On top of new computers there is a new way for elementary students to use these computers. Now each student K-5 has their own individual login and has to use that to get into the computer.
To help her first grade students get better at logging into the computers, as well as their student Google accounts, Mrs. Adams teamed up with Mrs. Anderson’s fifth grade class. They are technology buddies and the fifth graders have been amazing role models and partners to the first graders. Not only were the first graders logging in like pros, we even got them into their Google accounts and they even created their first Google Doc! I can’t wait to see the amazing things we can do with these two classes before the end of the year!
