Second grade students in Ms. Bond’s class at Three Chopt, used Google Earth today to explore China. They have been learning about Ancient China, but wanted to connect it to China today. They found the Great Wall of China, The Gobi Desert, and compared and contrasted the different land forms. The students loved going on this virtual field trip! Google Earth can be found by going to the Start Menu – Search Google Earth. There are placemakers in folders by SOLs already in the program to make searching very easy!
