Each of Mrs. McKeon’s 2nd graders created their very own Magic Tree House as a book report project! Mrs. McKeon wanted to take pictures of her students with their projects and display them for all to see. She took their pictures and placed them in a folder in the Student Server. We decided to use the website, Speechable, to upload their pictures and have the students type in a speech bubble where they would like to travel if they stepped inside of their Magic Tree House. The students submitted their creations to our Work Collector and we compiled them into Movie Maker. They can’t wait to see their picture movie on morning announcements tomorrow! Mrs. McKeon wants to take this project a step further and have her class create a collaborative Google Map and have each child mark their destination. I can’t wait!
