I discovered this app while helping my Kindergartner with her homework. They were asked to predict how long it would take an ice cube to melt and then test to see how long it actually takes. My daughter predicted that it would take 55 minutes. It actually took 1 hour and 25 minutes. Rather than standing over the bowl just watching the ice melt away, we downloaded a free app called Lapse It to keep an eye on our ice cube while we went about our evening routine. Using a spice rack and my cell phone, the app captured a photo every 5 seconds. It was really cool to watch the video afterwards and see an hour and a half condensed down to 21 seconds. Check it out!
