At Longan, the 5th grade students in Mrs. Graham’s class worked with partners to read a picture book of their choice and write a book review. They were challenged to write persuasive books reviews that would catch the readers interest and make them want to check out the book. The students used Tellagami on the iPads to record their book reviews. Then we linked the videos to the trigger image (the book cover) in Aurasma. To see their finished Aurasma’s in action, we invited a 2nd grade class to partner up with the 5th graders and learn how to use Aurasma to view the book trailers.
