Third Grade Turkey ChatterPix

Mrs. Bagley’s third graders at Kaechele have been learning about author’s purpose. As a class they read, “Turkey Trouble” by Wendi Silvano and were presented with a task relating to the story. The students were to design and create a turkey that did not want to be eaten on Thanksgiving. They needed to help their turkey disguise themselves well, and then write a persuasive paragraph convincing the “hunter” that they were not a turkey. Once the students completed their letter we brought their turkeys to life using the iPads and an app ChatterPix Kids. Check out some of the awesome work below!
