Writing Assignments in Google Classroom

Ms. Jessee’s third grade class has been using Google Classroom to complete their pre-writing assignments. As a class they use the Stoplight Writing outline.  Instead of having her students complete this on paper Ms. Jessee put the outline into a Google Doc and shared it to her class through Google Classroom.  There are SO many advantages for doing assignments through Google Classroom, and Ms. Jessee is really taking advantage of the platform in a great way.  Since Google Classroom keeps everything organized in your Google Drive account by assignment she never has to look for where the papers are going, or should be.  The students never have to worry about saving, or losing work, because everything is kept safely in their own organized Google Drive.  Ms. Jessee can even make or suggest edits for the students to do while they work!  I know that teachers will love this feature because it is a real time/paper saver!  Check out a couple of screenshots of student work below.  These are works in progress, but I love where they are headed!
