5th graders in Mrs. Taylor’s class at Highland Springs Elementary visited Maymont Park two weeks ago and took iPads with them to take pictures. Last week we downloaded their pictures to place in the Student Server to prepare for their first lesson in Google Drive…making a Google Presentation to tell about their trip to Maymont.
Today students started theirGoogle Presentations all about their trip and imported the photos they took while they were at Maymont. We created the presentations in a shared folder they had sent to Ms. Taylor. As the children were working on their presentations, Ms. Taylor quietly signed into her Google account and started commenting on the students’ presentations. THEY LOVED IT!! She provided suggestions, questions and compliments through the comment feature. She also used the chat feature to communicate quietly with her students:
