This 3rd grade class has been working on place value. The students made a copy of this document in their Google accounts and then color coded their number to show which place each number is in. After that, they recorded themselves saying each number in vocaroo and pasted the link on their doc. This way the teacher can go back and view their doc and listen to the student read the number to see if they have mastered the concept. We did this lesson whole group, but it would work even better as a station activity so that you can hear their recording better. When clicking on the recorded link as it’s posted on the blog, you’ll have to click the back button to get back to their doc. When clicking from the doc itself, their recordings will open in a new tab.
