Let the Dell Migration Begin!

My man Jim Covais started these series of posts to help prepare teachers for the migration from Mac to Dells, so I have decided to jump on board and collaborate to make the process easier for us both.  Over the next few weeks we will be sharing each others’ posts we make, so we can get the word out to teachers on some of the easy and quickest ways to prepare for “The Big Switch!”  Now, I realize you do not have your Dells yet, but all of these post will be categorized in the Dell sections, so you can easily find them at your earliest convenience.

Today’s Feature by Mr. Covais:  Backing up your Bookmarks

For this process we will be doing everything through Google Chrome. Those of you that use Google Chrome this should be easy. If you currently use Safari or Firefox we’ll have to go though a couple more steps, but still easy!

While we’re on the subject – when you get your Dell, Chrome will be the internet browser of choice. Why are we using Chrome? Chrome is on both the Mac and the Dell. After we complete this process, you’ll be able to sign into your Google Account on your Dell and all your bookmarks will be there. Super easy. So let’s get started.

Click on the statement that is true for you.

I use Safari.

I use Firefox.

I use Chrome.

Once you’ve completed the steps you’re good to go. All that is left is for you to get the new Dell. If you have any questions feel free to ask.
