Google Chrome Extensions!

imagesIt took forever for me to get on the Google Chrome Extensions boat, and I have no idea why! There are so many free Chrome Extensions that you can download to make your productivity, work flow, and overall web browsing experience much more enjoyable. From automatic copying to on-screen keyboard to splitting your web browser into two, and much more! If your interested in streamlining your Chrome experience, download these extensions and have fun surfing… the web!

Autocopy – Automatically copies text or links when they are selected. Imagine how many times a day you click Control or Command + C. Now, you don’t have to! It is taking me a little getting used to, but I am definitely pumped about trying this one!

Awesome New Tab Page – Enhance your New Tab Page with ultimate customizability and power. It’s like visual bookmarking.

*Split Screen* – I’ve written a blog post about this one already, but I figure I would throw this in as well.  This extension splits your screen into two web browser to use at once.

Chrome Virtual Keyboard – Enables an “on-screen keyboard” that can be easily accessed while using a Promethean Board, so you don’t have to keep running back and forth between your computer and the board.

goo.gl URL Shortener – Shortens any long URL. My favorite part is that it also provides the option to create a QR code!

Send to Google Drive – You can take any webpage and turn it into PDF and send straight to Google Drive.

And finally, LastPass – LastPass is a free online password manager and form filler that makes your web browsing easier and more secure. I have yet to try this one personally, but I think the potential could be great! One Password to rule them all! This could be the answer to not having to remember a ton of passwords anymore! The following video is from LastPass’ Youtube Account:
