Animation Fun!

David Clough recently shared ABCya! Animation, an awesome animation website, with the ITRT team. On this website you can make your own animated Gifs! The website is super user friendly and makes it so easy for the students to use.

Now the question you are asking yourself: So how can I use this in my classroom?

Glad you asked….

You could have the students make animations to show math facts. Check out my example below. This is a great way to actually act out word problems.  Students could also use this in science to show phases of the moon, seasonal changes, and life cycles just to name a few concepts.

From Blog Pics

After the images are completed you can put these awesome creations on your blog. You can even put the images on a Google Doc.
