2nd grade is learning about adding details to their writing. I let them decorate some pumpkins in pixie but before they could they had to write on the page exactly what their pumpkins would look like. They just needed to add words that would describe their pumpkins such as red hat, glowing eyes,etc. They then tried to see what their pumpkins would look like using their descriptive words.
