2nd grade is studying Erosion and Weathering. What better place to go than…..outside! They worked together in pairs and each pair had an iPad to go outside and take pictures of their school grounds for signs of weathering and erosion. These pictures were placed in dropbox and eventually found their way to a slide show to demonstrate how their school has problems. Next step….to find the most problematic place for erosion and weathering damage and do children’s engineering to find a solution.
