If you haven’t seen the multi-touch Thanksgiving App: Hand Turkey, then you need to check it out! An elementary ITRT, Michael Price, showed me this app yesterday and I immediately thought: HOW IN THE WORLD CAN I MAKE THIS EDUCATIONAL because the kids would be all over this??!!
So have your students create and disguise a turkey on the iPad. Then have them write or type about their creation! They could even take a screenshot of their turkey, upload it to Educreations or ShowMe and record themselves reading their story!
