I co-taught a fun place value lesson using pictures of Froot Loops, with Mrs. Ferguson at Pinchbeck Elementary. We assigned each color a different place value. For example blue Froot Loops were worth 100,000. The students constructed two different numbers and then compared the numbers. Here is an example.
