Today Mrs. Cornfield and I did a lesson on weathering, erosion and deposition that involved her class creating informative brochures. I created a brochure template and a folder of pictures for them to choose from to use in each section of their brochure. Sections included: a title page, weathering, erosion, deposition, solutions to these problems, and an extra section for students to add whatever they wanted that related to these topics. We taught the kids to think of the following images:
A HAMMER for weathering: breaks down Earth’s surface
A BROOM for erosion: moves weathered material to different places
