Use Pixie to design their flags
Use Pages or Keynote to write their Tangram stories. They could also use Pixie with illustrations.
Second grade have been watching the Virginia Trekkers so they decided they wanted to go trekking. They used the green screen option in Photo Booth to visit some famous rivers such as the Mississippi river and the James river. They spoke as if they were actually visiting these places and reciting some facts they researched. Here is a sample.
Mrs. Williams’s class used children’s engineering to create their own weather vanes. Students have been studying weather tools and thought they would make their own and see if they can make them work. CLICK HERE to see a few pics.
