Blog Background Design Resource

Looking to spice up your blog page? Depending on your theme, you can change the background color or design of your blog. In the past, I used http://www.backgroundlabs.com/, but I always seem to have problems with the images showing up on our school network. Instead of searching out a new site, I decided to simply go with using the color option–until yesterday. Frank Fitzpatrick, @FJFitz, tweeted out this webpage: PatternCooler. This site has over 200 different background designs. The best thing about having this many designs is that it multiplies to millions, if not billions, of designs because each of these designs are fully customizable. Once you have finished designing your background, you can download the free file. If you choose, you can also pay to have a high resolution version as well. Once downloaded, you have the option of donating “to the cause” of making free patterns as well. The background of this blog page was designed using http://www.patterncooler.com/. Obviously, I had to use University of Richmond Red and Blue!  Go Spiders!
