The 4th graders at Carver Elementary finished up part of their Jamestown unit last week. As part of review, the students used the Template Chooser in Pages and created brochures. We talked about how brochures are a great way to convey information to an audience. We also talked about how they can be used to persuade a reader to come to their venue. Using pictures taken from a Jamestown Field Trip, they explained and persuaded readers to visit Jamestown. This was a quick and easy lesson, and the students had a really fun time making them.
