Voki Characters

Voki is a great website that allows you to create speaking avatars.  You can embed these Voki characters into your blog page, class Edmodo page, etc. to play later for your students.  There are many different ways you can use this program:  make a Voki Who am I?, a Quiz Reviews, to present information students have researched, or something else.  Mrs. Spivey’s class is learning about the VA Indians.  Her students took information they had researched about the Indians and wrote a script as if they were apart of the tribe.  After they wrote their scripts, they logged into Voki using the free account Mrs. Spivey made.  The students made the Voki characters and typed in their scripts.  Here are a couple of examples they made.  If you would like to try something like this with your class, sign up for a time to meet with me, so we can work out all the details!
