Today, I pulled an enrichment group from Mrs. Bryne’s kindergarten class. I showed the students how to play Futaba. Students had a good time competing against one another to see who knew the word to the picture shown the fastest. Students kept trading partners until we had a “champion.” We also played Sight Words. I had students look at 3 flashcards at a time and listen to the narrator read the cards to the student. The student had to find the word that was read.

Today, I started pulling a small group of Mrs. Young’s first graders to make an All About Me story in StoryKit. Students had to take a picture of themselves and record something they like to do, draw their favorite food, and draw something they like to do.

Ms. Adt’s second graders created Comic Life projects on the Lakota Indians. They did a fabulous job. Their work looked very professional.
