Today, I did a lesson in Ms. Mass’s fourth grade class. The students worked on multiplication. The class broke up into teams of four. Each team had a flipchart where two students raced to complete a multiplication fact at one time. One student was the fact changer (he/she had to change the fact that would be solved) and the other student was the fact checker with a calculator.
