The students in Mrs. Harlow’s Kindergarten class used many different tools in a lesson today. The last lesson I did with them they explored the pros and cons to using Pages and Pixie. Their conclusion was that Pages was best for typing and Pixie was best for drawing. Today the students added to that knowledge and typed their own sentences (with capitals, spaces, and punctuation) and then used the shortcut keys to copy and paste into Pixie! Then they used their formatting tools in Pixie to increase the size and change the color of their sentences. Finally, they were able to be creative and illustrate their sentences. Some students added some extra creativity by using the web cam and recording themselves reading their sentences. Great job Kindergarten!!
