Mrs. Harlow’s kindgergarten students worked with Mrs. Massenburg’s third grade students at Trevvett to create their own sentences. The students were given a pixie document with an area to write their sentences as well as kindergarten sight words and third grade adjectives. The kindergarten student told the third grade student a sentence using their sight words. They also found a sticker to match their sentence. The third grade student then added adjectives to “spice up” their writing and some chose to record their sentences. (They were not limited to using only the words on the page) The classes had a lot of fun and learned from each other while showing off those technology, collaboration, and creativity skills.
