Today Mrs. Axtell’s and Mrs. Singletons’ fourth graders began making brochures to show the major waterways which contribute to Virginia. They wrote about the York River, Chesapeake Bay, Rappahannock River, Atlantic Ocean, and James River. Students used a brochure template in Pages and inserted pictures on their own. They then had to describe why each water feature was important to Virginia.
Ms. Warthan’s kindergarten class extended their practice on the computer by visiting and . Students put puzzles together and painted pictures to strengthen their trackpad skills by using just one hand.
