Want a twist to your review of the Regions of Virginia for Virginia Studies? The Flying Squirrels mascot, Nutzy was designed in the shape of the State. By using the graphic Inspector in Pages, and changing the opacity of Nutzy, you can see the basic outline of the state and the R on his chest marks Richmond. Very clever indeed, and students at Ratcliffe enjoyed reviewing the regions using Nutzy. One student said “If he sticks his right thumb out, his thumb would be the Appalachian Plateau”.
